Instrumenting and Analyzing Web Apps Deployed on Heroku

One of Heroku’s more popular innovations has been its Addon Catalog, which features complementary services that can help developers become more productive. Once such addon is New Relic, a Web application performance service for 24x7 monitoring of Web apps deployed on Heroku. In this session, Isabelle Lee, Heroku’s partner marketer, will introduce the Addon Catalog and the New Relic service. New Relic application performance engineers Brian Doll and Abhishek Goswami will then lead an interactive session that guides participants through the simple steps of deploying app instances on Heroku, enabling the New Relic service, and basic monitoring and troubleshooting procedures.
