Winter ’10 offers improvements in email capabilities. The service now ensures that customers receiving emails from Apex will have a good experience by elegantly handling exceptions and letting you control the experience. In addition, you can now choose to truncate any content above the 100kb limit on inbound emails.

New methods on the inbound email object lets you determine if the body or attachments were truncated.

In addition, Winter '10 allows you to set the content type of an attachment and make it inline in the email. For example, now you attach meeting invites for recipients to accept or decline directly from the email.

The setContentType and setInline methods on the EmailFileAttachment object specify an email attachments' Content-Type and Content-Disposition provide this functionality.
